Fertility questions

So me and my bf have been together for sometime,and we have lots of unprotected sex where he has never pulled out even on ovulation days (we are not trying for a baby but we are in the mind set if it happens it happens) and today my friends wanted me to take a test with her so she didn’t feel alone and I said sure. Well when my came out negative I got really upset and I’m now in the mindset what if I can’t have a baby. My biggest fear in life is that I won’t get to be a mom. So I guess what I’m trying to ask is it normal to get upset and cry over a negative test when we are not even trying really. But I just have that fear that I can’t have kids because we have been having sex 4-5 times a week for 7 months now. Like how am I not pregnant yet. I’m not on birth control,we don’t use condoms,he doesn’t pull out..like What do I do ?
