Kids in stores and masks?

I have a 16 month old that has never been in a grocery store. We’ve been lucky enough to figure out contactless ways to have groceries delivered, or one of us runs out on the weekend. etc. since the pandemic started. My two questions are: do you think it’s okay to being small kids to the store now? And what age would you expect to see kids wearing a mask? Thanks, not trying to be paranoid just not sure when it’s “okay” since we have been able to avoid it. Thank you!
