Daycare transition

Ka

Next week is my last full week with my two year old before I put her in a small in-home daycare. She will be there 7 hours a day, 3 days a week. We plan to do a trial day before she starts on May 11th. My daughter it's a total mama's girl and is attached to my hip. I know daycare is going to be so good for her and I can't wait to watch her blossom. However I'm worried about just dropping her off and leaving her. She will be taking a nap during the day (hopefully). Should I do more than one trial day? Should I have her do a half trial day and grab her after lunch so she can nap at home? Is a trial day even worth it? Am I over thinking this as much as my husband says I am? She's two so she will be aware I'm leaving her. And we don't personally know these people but we did a meet and greet the other day and she had a great time. I don't want to traumatize her and I'm aware there will be a transition period I'm just trying to make it as easy and less scary as possible
