When did you let people kiss the baby?

MIL is driving me insane with this. Baby is five months old and we will not let anyone kiss her. Every time she’s over she starts-can I kiss her head? Can I kiss her little hands? Well can I kiss her back? Can I kiss anything?! And my favorite-why can you kiss her but I can’t? 
When did you let family kiss your infant?

I don’t see why it’s a big thing to her 🤷‍♀️holding babies is sweet and all but I’ve never been so adamant about putting my mouth on one I didn’t birth myself

My MIL is the same way. Then when she goes to leave she will look at my 2 month old and says “mommy and daddy will have to give you kisses because I’m not allowed” damn right you aren’t. You’ll never be allowed too. She has been caught multiple times sneaking kisses on her forehead and top of the head and my kid has already had whooping cough. So now when she has her I sit and stare at her and don’t leave the room. She smokes and has dentures so she never washed the inside of her mouth unless it’s with what’s she drinking. Like the last thing you’ll do is be a able to ever kiss my child. I find it super weird other people want to kiss her and everything in me just tells me it’s wrong.

My son is 2 and I still don’t let people kiss him. Nobody’s lips need to be on my kid. It annoys me that so many people think it’s ok to kiss someone else’s child no matter relationship. And when they say I just can’t help it, I see red. I have taken care of a lot of babies/children and not one time did I feel the need to kiss them. They aren’t mine to kiss. I don’t kiss my nieces or nephews. They aren’t mine. One of my nieces will ask for a kiss occasionally and I’ll give her one but she’s almost 4. Our friends 4 year old has asked me to kiss her forehead before and I did but only
Because she asked. If my son asks someone for a kiss, I won’t say anything. But to just kiss him because you think you have that right... no!

Absolutely no one can kiss my babies except my husband and I. I always say, if you didn’t make them you can’t kiss them. Not only Covid but RSV, the flu, and herpes (cold sore herpes) can be deadly to babies. Plus you’re the parent. If you don’t want anyone to kiss them then that’s the rule! You don’t have to give any explanation

Would really rather never. Buttttt my mil is always sneaking kisses on baby’s head. I just make sure to tell them not to kiss her face or her hands because she’s constantly got her hands in her mouth.

First 6 months. We allowed the grandparents to kiss the top of the head after 2 months. My MIL/FIL however have terrible hygiene. For as posh as they try to come across, they are disgusting. No teeth brushing, hardly remember to take showers, never wash their hands and don’t even think about replacing the hand towels at their house. 🤮 so no, we never allowed them to kiss our baby. She’s 21 months now, still no kissing from them. 
Now my family it’s fine as long as theirs no Covid exposure.
