Work Pregnancy Announcement

Hey! This is on the back of a pretty long story but I've just told management that I'm expecting. I wasn't sure if I could share the news further within the company, I'm not really close with anyone as I mainly work alone but I told some and said I wasn't sure if I was meant to say and then told her. I also said I don't think my team are meant to know yet, no one really said to go ahead and say or not so I really wasn't sure. Anyway, She went and told my manager that I didn't think I was allowed to tell people which then caused my manager to ask if this is what I thought. I said I didn't think that but wasn't sure on the process etc etc but I'm now feeling anxious of my wording to the girl where I said I wasn't sure if I was meant to say. Who usually would share this kind of news with a team anyway? Do I tell everyone? Do I tell HR? This is my first and I'm completely unsure and feel I'm stressing about work too much.
