Temper tantrums

I'm a FTM to a (almost) 14 month old little boy and omgoodness the temper tantrums come on so randomly. He'll be playing with his toys and then all of a sudden it's not doing what he wants it to do and he just throws it and starts screaming. He says a few words here and there, but nothing that can really tell me what's wrong and I don't know what to do. He normally only does this around my mom and me, but when my husband gets home he acts better. What do I do to help my son through these tantrums when I don't know what he wants? 😭
