Body is in early labor, 36 weeks.

Hi ladies! So this is my 2nd baby and I have been having some stronger contractions this week. I decided to ask to have my cervix checked at my regular appt. I'm 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced. With my son I was 3 cm dilated and 100% effaced and I had him 3 days later, although I was 39 weeks at the time.

I'm a little nervous, I had bad cramps last night a few times and today, just felt like strong menstrual cramps, but I'm nervous about her coming too early! I guess I'm just on here asking if anyone has experienced similar, and have any of your babies arrived this early and how was the baby?
