I'm definitely not ok with anyone hitting my kid!! I'd be pissed too, I don't even hit my own child! I feel like she was right to want to sit down and discuss it together, the dad could've been open to hearing her out. Like she's your child too and you're coparenting, so yes, some things need to be consulted with the other parent. I'd just be so pissed! Like you can be around my child, love my kid, etc. but keep your hands off my kid!
