Boyfriend is struggling with giving up being young and able to party

My boyfriend is two years younger than me and just turned 21. This pregnancy was unplanned but we knew from the beginning that we wanted to keep our baby. Today he made comments like “you were supposed to be on birth control” and “I just want to go out and party”. Hearing him say things like that really hurt, especially since I’m 32 weeks pregnant. And as far as his birth control comment, he 100% knew I was in between birth controls at the time I got pregnant. I can tell it’s something he’s struggling with right now because he doesn’t usually ever say things like he did today. He’s very supportive physically, meaning he’s always there and I can always count on him, but emotionally he has a hard time so I feel a bit alone on this journey when it comes to dealing with the emotional roller coaster of it all. I know that right now he’s just worried about losing his youth, which I think is a justified concern for a 21 year old man, but the reality is that he needs to step up into the role of a father in a few short weeks. I do have faith in him that he will, he’s very driven and committed, but I’m scared. I’m a bit hurt by his comments too, he did give me a hug and a kiss and tell me everything would be okay. It’s just a lot to deal with.
