14 month old won’t stop spitting
How do I correct this behavior? She started off just blowing really wet raspberries and now she’s started full on filling her mouth with spit and spitting it all out. She’s doing the same thing with food. She will chew it up and then spit it out.
It’s not drooling, it’s very intentional because she looks right at me smiling waiting for my reaction when she does it. At this point I’m just nodding my head no and saying “that’s gross!” Or “don’t spit.” I’m a first time mom and this is the first behavior I’ve had to really correct and I have no clue how to. I would just ignore it, but she’s soaking her clothes, her toys, her crib, etc.
