Lap for endo with IVF

Do you have to have a lap to remove suspected endo for

IVF

to work?

I’ve been told

IVF

is the way around endometriosis.

Never been told I have endometriosis but I have an endometrioma in left ovary which is a pretty good indication. I don’t think I have symptoms otherwise, no painful periods, just short 2-3 days

I did

IVF

and am on my third and final embryo transfer.

Considering asking if a lap is recommended if #3 fails. Also would it Make more sense to do another stim and retrieval before the lap as to not damage ovarian function and number of potential eggs retrieved?
