The pain of having an extremely smart kid

My son is 16 and very very VERY smart. But situations like this make me wish he wasn't so smart. I had my 11 year old laptop which turns into a tablet and one of her tabs she had open was for fanfiction.com and she was reading very inappropriate fanfiction. I went into the living room to ask her why she was reading that and how she was because I have a parental lock on it. She point to my son and says "Andrew hacked the system and took off the lock". And then my son says "You snitch give me back my $20 then". So now everyone is grounded from electronics. Why couldn't I have have had a decently smart kid. Why did God give me a overly smart kid who can hack into shit🤦‍♀️
