Baby constipated?

I been giving my baby purées these few days she’s 6 months already but she’s constipated and passing hard stools.. what should I do? Can I give her water already? Or should I give her less of the purée?

What purees are you giving her? Bananas are very constipating so keep those to a minimum, P fruits usually help get things moving (Prunes, Pears ect.) And blueberries always worked quickly for my daughter.
You can start giving her some water, just a bit with food to start.

The only foods that worked for my baby is prunes. I've tried pears and peaches but nothing works like prunes. My baby has always had trouble after starting solids.

I would definitely cut back as it’s a sign that her tummy isn’t fully ready for what she’s getting.  Up to 2 oz of water a day right now is okay.

Give less of whatever u were feeding. I’d personally wait a few days before introducing any new type of solid and give her tummy and digestive system time to get back on track. Sips of water are perfectly fine.
