What can I use to help my daughters cradle cap?

I used coconut oil 10 minutes before bath and massage on head. Then I use a baby brush to massage and very very gently remove the flakes. Then I wash their hair until the oil is out. That’s what my pediatrician recommended. I only had to do it maybe two times before it went away. Not bad at all. You can use baby oil too but he said coconut oil was a good idea because if they get a little in their mouth for some reason it won’t hurt them. 
Also I don’t wash their hair everyday. It dries their scalp. I don’t even bathe my babies everyday. Their skin is very sensitive and we have very hard water. I bathed them every two-three days (don’t worry even the pediatrician said it’s not necessary to bathe everyday). Unless they got messy or got poop everywhere. Once they start crawling and walking and getting dirty that’s different.

I use olive oil. Just rub it onto their head a couple hours before giving them their bath and you can brush the cradle cap straight out.
