Afraid

Hey so i’ve been seeing this guy for awhile he’s super sweet and super patient with me, I’m 19 and well over ready to lose my virginity but whenever it comes to me and him alone i’m too nervous to do anything. But before anyone says “you might not be ready”. I completely am, but just when it works up to the moment of me sitting with him while he holds me and he starts to initiate things to go further I always freak myself out. I’m honestly convinced I can’t get with this man unless I have alcohol in my system. So before it gets to that point, any tips on how to take control of the situation and initiate sex without completely curling up inside?
