Baby Shower Gift Ideas

So when it comes to any gift giving I normally like being practical among other things. I don't have any children myself and not even many close ones in my life which is why I decided to ask here. I have given gifts at a few baby showers before but still just want to get others inputs.

The baby shower I have coming up is my boyfriend's cousin. It is her first child but also his aunt's first grandbaby and I already know they are pretty much beyond set on anything the baby needs (as far as large/pricey/one time purchases). I know a lot of people like to get cute things like baby clothes etc. I normally go the way of diapers and other necessitys.

So what are practical/useable/things needed frequently after having a baby?

Diapers (in a larger or multiple sizes) and wipes are probably going to be a bulk of the gift. Then where I think after that are things like baby powder? Baby wash/shampoo? Baby lotion?

Also what do you think would be the best/nice gift as an addition for the mom type gift? Probably leaning towards gift card maybe for food or coffee or something.
