Night feeds???

QQ - My son is 5 months 9 days old. When to stop night feeds so that he can sleep throughout the night. I’ve started 1 time purees going slow.. He wakes up every 3 hours at night and hardly feeds coz he is super sleepy. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Ask doc if it is ok to drop, usually docs don't reccomend it before six months or at least certain weight of baby.
My 8 month old eats three times a day and no matter how I try to stop night feeds, he still will not go to sleep without a night feed every 2-3 hours. And I have been told it is still normal in that age. Solids during the day will not be the magic that makes baby sleep at night. But still to be sure baby gets all nessesary calories during the day, then there is a chances of sleeping in the night more.

My baby is 2 months old and at the 2-month-old checkup  the dr told me to slowly start weaning away his night feedings and that he should be able to sleep in the night so normally he wakes up at midnight and 3:00 a.m. to feed and my pediatrician said to basically start by weaning down how much I feed him so normally we would do 4 oz and she said slowly start cutting back and then eventually just get rid of that feeding and she said the babies will compensate and eat more during the day.

You don’t drop them. Sleep is developmental. He will sleep through the night when He is ready. He’s waking for a reason, it’s best to just go with whatever his flow is. Not drop anything because he could be hungry at night.

I never intentionally might weaned. If my son woke up and seemed hungry I fed him. If he fell asleep with a few pats I didn’t. 
Sleep is developmental. He’ll sleep through when he is ready even if he is waking up and not hungry and just needs some comfort.
