Name Dilemma
Omg guys, my brain is on overdrive!
It’s been so hard to find a name that we both love for our second son. Our first is named Jude and it was a clear choice for us.
This time around, we’ve toyed with Colin, Samuel, Aiden, Emile... need the name to work in both French and English since we’re a Franco American family living in France.
I stumbled upon the name Cohen this week and fell in LOVE. And my husband loves it, too. BUT, after research and some feedback, apparently it can be controversial because its origins are from a special line of families in the Jewish faith. And it just doesn’t sit right with me to offend anyone, even if this feels like the perfect name for my son 😭 There are other spellings, Cohan, or Coen, but they’re just not as pretty.
Then I thought... Cayden?! This could be the perfect combo of all the names we like? Is Cayden Charles V (3 syllable last name) nice sounding??
Still getting over the loss of Cohen, lol. Just have to rant somewhere because I’m driving my husband nuts with my overthinking 😂😂
