Itchy ears? 👂👂

Does your baby scratch his/her ears before sleeping?

As recommended by my baby’s pediatrician, I applied Aquaphor several times a day on the area between her ears and cheeks. I also clean her ears with wash cloth and not let water dropped inside ears during her bath.

She only scratches when she is trying to fall asleep (15-30min before sleeping usually)

I don’t know if that is just a way she soothes herself or she actually feels itchy. 🤔

The scratching area looks red (most of the time) and bleed sometimes. If I cover her hands with gloves, she is kind of mad 🤷‍♀️ but still scratch crazily.

I also don’t like to buy and test skin products on her (just mom guilt and feel paranoid after reading internet 🤪). Not really sure what else I could try to help her.
