Would you wait to Renovate? Advice wanted!

I just found out I'm pregnant with our 3rd child.

We have 3 bedrooms, ours, our 2 girls (4 and 1) and a playroom.

The playroom is the larger of the 2, I just painted it. I just got all of the paint and supplies to completely Renovate the girls room next.

Since we moved in a year ago their room hasn't been painted, my 4 year old can't wait for a nice room.

Now, If this baby were to be a boy I'd probably want him to have the smaller room, but if it's a girl they'd all share.

If I paint the room for the girls, how long could I reasonably expect to have all 3 share a room before switching them and renovating again?

The small room totally isn't big enough for all the toys 🤣

Sooo what would you ladies do? Wait to find out the gender or go for it and hope it works out?

I'd have to buy a ton more paint etc and lockdown and money, the girls probably wouldn't have their finished room for a while if I switched them
