37 Weeks Induction

Hello ladies, I am currently 35+2 days at my 20 week ultrasound I was told the placenta was coving the cervix so I had to get checked again at 32 weeks. When I went in after a long ultrasound check I was told my baby was measuring small and there was low fluid around him so my ob sent me to the hospital to get checked by a high risk doctor when she was finished she told me the fluid was fine but he was in the 1 percentile. I stayed overnight and was told because he was so small he wasn’t going to make it to 40 weeks. They gave me two steroid shots to help with his lung development in case he come earlier. I will be induced 37 weeks exactly (May 24th). My original due date is June 14th so he will be here 3 weeks early. I am currently 8 months and my baby is now weighing at 4lbs. I have to see my ob once a week and a high risk specialist at a hospital once a week as well. I went in for a stress test last week 33 weeks and my baby didn’t pass so I was sent to the hospital again to get check. After hours of being on monitors and getting an ultrasound I was released and sent home. This is my first pregnancy and it’s not how I expected it to be. He will be here in 2 weeks and I am nervous about him being born early especially during a pandemic, and I hope he won’t spend time in the nicu and they tell me my baby is okay. If any mom have been induced or baby came early how did you get through it and was your baby doing okay? I’m 19 years old and need a little peace of mind.
