Is your partner attending your baby shower?

Mine is NOT. Ladies let me tell you that it has been devastating to me. He is supportive of having it but feels it is a “woman’s function” .... his POV on this has really caused a strain on our relationship. We’re only 24 & 27 & all of our friends have had baby showers where both parents attended so I just don’t get it. Its not like he’s never been to a baby shower 🙄 We haven’t been on good terms in about 2 weeks because of this lol. I asked my parents & my dad had the same exact POV!!!! But he also hit me with the “well back in my day...” story 🙄 & I’m just like umm hello its 2021, everybody’s partner is at their shower now! Smh. He also feels that because we did a gender reveal & have everything we need its not all that necessary.

I guess I just want to know if anybody’s partner has felt this way? It sure DOESN’T seem common to me now in days. Not sure if I should just get over it or continue to be pissed lol... like why won’t he just come 🙄🙄☹️😒
