Does this make me a bad mom already?

M

So I’ve been struggling with how I want to feed my LO. I know I want to breastfeed and I feel like whenever you breastfeed it’s assumed you’ll pump as well. Is it wrong that I don’t want to pump?

My husband and I were discussing this earlier and considered a combination of breastfeeding and formula feeding from day one. However I feel like I’m going to be judged the second I say that to medical staff. This is our first baby, we’re stationed overseas, far from family and friends, so I just don’t want the hassle of trying to push myself to produce enough for her while doing basically everything on my own while he works. Obviously he’ll help when home and I feel like the option of mixing up a bottle would be way easier. I’m also thinking it would make things much easier for when we can finally go home to visit family who can’t come here to meet her.
