BV TREATMENT

i’m trying to conceive and the dr thinks i have BV. but he’s still waiting on my swab results. he was unsure about prescribing me matrinazole (an antibiotic) but he did anyways. my symptoms are kind of going away today, i only took 1 tablet yesterday but now i’m scared because i’ve read that taking them makes u more prone to getting it again and can effect fertility. what would you do? it would be different if my dr was completely happy with it but he wasn’t either. but then again can’t BV effect fertility. HELP
