I started to spot 4 days before my period was supposed to start which isn’t normal. I put a tampon in and bled through it and this is part of what came out. There was quite a bit of blood and it was tissue like and not a clot. Is this a miscarriage?

Did you have a positive pregnancy test? If not, there would be no reason to assume you’re experiencing a miscarriage.

To the ladies saying did she test etc: maybe she didn't, four days before AF and maybe not expected, or maybe she has had other losses and this one is different. I understand people throw the words chemical pregnancy or miscarriage around (and as someone who had one earlier this year I know how devastating it can be - and it was confirmed by Dr ladies) don't judge people based on their questions, rather be compassionate and help them... This is supposed to be a supportive platform

Hi! I have pcos and endometriosis and I have clots/tissue like this every single period for the last 4 years. My longest one was as long as my forearm and was super painful to pass! Doctors said it's just hunks of thick uterine lining. But DEFINITELY bring this up to your doctor! Can be an indicator of serious issues!

If it was a miscarriage a pregnancy test would still be positive.
I would test just to be sure.

I've had clots like that before, like a sheet of uterine lining came off instead of clotted blood. Looked just like that. It happens to me once or twice a year. Unless you feel a lot of pain, I wouldn't worry

It’s not a miscarriage. Are you pregnant? Did you take a test and it came out positive? Can you send a picture? Did you get a blood test from from the doctor confirm indeed you are pregnant? If not please don’t say miscarriage.
