Fertility Journey Part 2

Hey all!!! It's time for part 2 of our Fertility Journey.

Today we had our appointment for our ultrasound and Labs. I had a transvaginal ultrasound to check my cervix, uterus and ovaries. My labs were for all the normal fertility hormone test. My husband had a semen analysis (he's in the clear).

My transvaginal ultrasound went well. It didn't hurt, wasn't uncomfortable at all. She had some issues seeing my left ovary but no issues seeing my right. I have over 20+ in my right which indicates mild PCO. (Below is put the difference between PCO and PCOS).

My doctor prescribed me Letrozole at 2.5mg, Dexamethason at 1mg and Estrogen. I will take Letrozole for the next 5 days with the Dexamethason for 10 days. The Estrogen I will take for 2 days after the Letrozole. The Letrozole is going to help with ovulation. The Dexamethason is a steriod to help my Testosterone. (I'm on the high end of normal so that is a precaution).

I will go back in next week to get another ultrasound and to plan when to take my trigger shot. Then possibly another ultrasound a few days later.

That's our journey so far. We are very happy and stayed positive that things will work out.
