What to do with old kids clothes (before donating)

Would you make more or less trying to sell baby/toddler/kids clothes at your own thrift sale compared to taking them to a place that buys strictly kids/baby clothes? Or would you think it’d be the other way around? 
In need of some extra cash, so I’d like to choose the route that would make me more cash first. And then whatever is left I would donate.

Sell on Facebook/Craigslist/Nextdoor etc. Have a yard sale. Last option is a resale store like Once Upon A Child. They give you next to nothing for clothing items.

I ask around my church to see if there is anyone in need. If not I donate them. The place where I donate give the proceeds to the pregnancy center here or I could give the clothes directly to the pregnancy center and they can give them to moms in need. That’s where I give the diapers my kids outgrow before I can finish them.

Unless I have a lot of really nice things it's too much of a hassle to sell on fb or other selling sites. People want everything for nothing and delivered on a silver platter. I've taken things to once upon a child before but they can be really picky sometimes.

Poshmark! They take a fee but the shipping is easy because of the prepaid label they send you. I sell a ton on there. It’s easy to list things, just be sure to be honest in your description and take pictures of any “flaws”. Also be sure to ship quickly.

I would put the lot in Facebook Marketplace first. Then I would take them to a second hand store that would buy them. You will likely make about the same and it will be SO much less effort. A garage/tag/yard sale is a ton of work and has costs associated with it.
