Wash or not wash new baby clothes?

Hey guys I’m due in a few weeks I just wanted to know if I should wash the new baby clothes or leave it with the tags on just in case he doesn’t wear it and I can exchange them?

If you're worried you bought/received too much of a certain size, just wash your favorites and leave a few with the tags on 👍 You can always go back and wash more if you need it. Always wash before baby wears!

If you got too many then definitely just wash the ones bub will most likely wear,   i personally always buy a size up since with my first i brought so much baby clothes but she didn't wear half of it as she grew out of them so fast 🤧🤧

I mostly bought 0-1 month clothing and 0-3 months. Washed all of those. I also got gifted some clothing and I washed those too. Also, ironed everything just to make sure everything is nice and sanitized. I only ironed because they came from stores where everyone touched them and the ones I got gifted were stored in the attic. But next time I will just simply wash them

Everything save a few things we got were used from friends so I washed everything but there’s a couple things we bought or got new for later on that I left tags on. I’d go ahead and wash whatever you have for newborn for sure, and maybe half of your 0-3 to start out. You don’t want to be stuck doing a ton of laundry right after baby is born but I also see wanting to return stuff if they don’t get a chance to wear it!
