37 weeks and cervix is closed. Anyone else?

Anyone else this far along and still closed? Found out today baby is breech. Already had a repeat C-Section scheduled for the 1st of June.  I know he’s not coming out that way but with my first two I was 2 cm dilated by now. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

I don’t get mine checked bc it means nothing. You can go from 0 to full blown labor in an hour and you can sit at 4cm dilated for a week. (I did the latter with my first and went 6 days past due 18 hour labor) declined all checks with my second and with this one. It either disappoints you or gets your hopes up for no reason.

I was also closed this week at my 37 week appointment. But was told my cervix is soft my re peat c-section is scheduled may 31st unless I magically go into labor.

With my first two I was closed at this time. I was only dilated 1cm by 39 weeks both times. I go next week to get checked but guessing still closed based on prior experience. 36 weeks today. I’m breech too but my two prior births were vaginal so really hoping she turns in time.

Mine was closed at 38 weeks with my first and second. My third and now fourth I’ve been dilated. And honestly, the only reason i get checked is because once I start dilating i usually go pretty quick. I went from a 6 to a 10 in 5 minutes with my 3rd.

I just got checked at 36+2 I was dilated at 2cm. All I did was most likely walked the whole time. I thought I wouldn’t be at a 2 already. This my 3rd child
