Would this upset you at all? *cross posted*

My husband’s parents have invited us to stay with them for a few days out of state. I would really like to go. I’m a SAHM and I never get to go do anything. My husband doesn’t want to go. We haven’t gone out without kids for a date in YEARS. Like I literally can’t remember the last time we did it. His mom offered to take all three kids AND book us a hotel for the night!! Now I REALLY want to go. My husband absolutely doesn’t want to.. he’s fine if I take the kids and go, he just doesn’t want to. Which defeats the purpose.. My feelings are hurt 😅 this was our chance… and I’m the one who will have to tell them no. I was so excited.. and so bummed now
