Is it wrong for me to ask?

I'm asking for no visitors for at least 2 weeks so I can get in the routine of taking care of the baby and my 4 other daughters! And also so I can get back to myself a little.

I’m sorry but anyone who thinks it’s wrong for you to ask for privacy can F off. Being a mom to a newborn is tiring and having the kids to also take care of, I probably would’ve asked for a month lol.

Nope. With my first I wouldn’t let anyone in delivery but hubby, my mom was the only one allowed at the hospital & I did allow my dad & his wife to come when they were in town, but they were pilot/flight attendant so they weren’t going to be able to come see baby for another couple weeks. I didn’t allow anyone else until I was 4-6 weeks. The first baby is a $#!+ show, it’s weird with the bleeding & the healing & milk coming in & figuring out how to feed baby. Give yourself a Grace period momma. 
I will say that this time will be totally different for me. I don’t care who comes and I will be giving them chores to do so I can rest.

I think that's fine, you mentioned in another comment no overnight guests, we did the same, they were welcome during the day but we wanted to get our routine down at night with just us.

I'm excited do not be allowed visitors in the hospital due to pandemic. I'm also not having in home visitors with exception of paternal grandparents. My mom lives with us, so she's going to be there! Haha

Something I’ve come to realize is NO ONE is entitled to your child except you and it’s other parent. Whatever decision you two come to us what’s right for you guys and your baby

Not at all! I've always been more of a please visit while we're in the hospital type, just because I'm not going to rest in there anyway. But once I come home that's it. I don't want anyone to come over, let me rest and my family adjust to life with a new baby. It's just too much.

I don’t think it’s wrong but ... get some help if you need it! Only accept visitors who are coming to clean, cook or watch your other kids so you can rest!
