Anyone else’s babies not like being swaddled?

Now we are going through my babies first leap her arms are constantly waking her! My other girls went through this to. Whenever I swaddle her she grunts and fusses until I let her arms out 😂 
If it’s happening to you, what suit or technique are you using to help your little one sleep?

My son did that when I would swaddle him with his arms by his side, but he was much happier when I switched to Love to Dream swaddles because he could keep his arms up, but still swaddled!

I started off swaddling my newborn until she would scream if we kept her hands down. I just rock her to sleep now until she’s out for good and then put her in a bassinet in which I put a dock a tot in ( Made it a little tighter and smaller for her, to feel like I was still holding her ) and she sleeps wonderful now. It also helps that my bassinet rocks a bit so I’m able to put her to sleep that way

The grunts are actually normal for babies. If I don’t react to grunts - only cries- it doesn’t seem to be an issue. A lot of times they’re grunting but actually sleeping. I wear ear plugs. But can still hear when he cries to wake. Did the same for my other babies. They’re noisy sleepers.

Mine hates having her arms down and would scream when she woke up after only a short time. I bought the love to dream swaddle which allows her arms to be up and it has been a game changer!! At night she gets 4-6 hour stretches with it on

Have you tried using a swaddleme pod? Or any type of “swaddle” that doesn’t actually hold down their arms (I think love to dreams is another brand) My baby boy loves being swaddled but when I use the pod I notice he has a lot more freedom with his hands. he will chew them through the fabric when he’s hungry and is able to move them but they are still contained enough that he doesn’t have the Moro reflex issue you’re having.
