Docotor has me looking out for symptoms of pre E

I've had high blood pressure reading but blood work has been fine one of the symptoms he told me to look out for was flu like symptoms. What does that mean? I was in L&D Friday and released by Friday night I had a sore throat right tonsil inflamed right nostril hurts really just the right side of my face is suffering right now im blowing out and spitting out nasty mucous. Is this just a cold or symptoms he told me to look out for ? My kiddos woke up kinda same one has a runny nose diarrhea one has nasty cough diarrhea ?
