Cloth or disposable ??

I’m having my baby #2 in October and for my first I just used disposable 
This time around I’m very curious about cloth diapers my biggest confusion about them is if the baby poops I just rinse it in my sink? Then throw in the washer? Cause nb poops are sticky. Is that not nasty to have poop going down your drain? Then in your washer? :0 
& do they leak? Cause I know they are expensive so I don’t want to be buying some and turn out to completely hate them ?

If baby is breast fed you can just throw them in the washer as breastfed baby poop is water soluble. Once you start feeding baby solids you just dump the poop into the toilet before washing. 
If the poop really freaks you out they make like hose things you can attach to your toilet to spray the diapers before washing. We got this one, but haven’t used it yet.

I've started using cloth nappies - tbh you might struggle fit wise for a newborn so I'd say use disposable for those first few nappies at the very least. Most nappies fit best once they're over 10lb. After that use a disposable liner for the poop if you want. I personally use reusable liners which I just wipe the worst of into the toilet and then throw into the washing machine with the rest of the nappies.
