“Right person, wrong time” stories??

Anyone have stories where they met someone at the wrong time but it ended up working out later on? Said goodbye to someone that I really felt something with but we’re long distance atm and have priorities. I’m hoping we reconnect when I move 😕 (I already had plans to move to his city before we met)

i started speaking to someone 6 years ago but we were both still hooked on our exs despite liking each other so we never took things further than a few chats because we felt nothing would come of it because of our feelings we still had towards our previous relationships. 6 years later we live together have been together for a year and have just had a baby together

My current husband and I met fifteen years ago. At the time we just had a fwb situation then he got into a relationship with a friend and I moved out of state. I married, was widowed and we got back into touch seven years after we first met. This time we were both ready to explore something deeper with each other. Which has made me the luckiest. We are a perfect fit. Had we not had that time to grow and learn we may never have been right for each other.

I think these are just different paths that open up and introduce change to shake up your life if you are in a rut, unhappy, or too comfortable. These possible unions are either geared towards improvement or self destruction. Especially if you have feelings for another person.

I’ve never believed in that and Honestly in my opinion if it’s meant to be or the “right” person it will be no matter what and you’d be able to work it out no matter how far away you are from each other people make it work through worse situations , if he’s actually not willing to try then he’s most likely not the one for you
