Infant acid reflux tips?

Question

Has anyone else been dealing with acid reflux with their baby? What has your experience been like and any tips?
My 1mo old spits up a lot and has trouble sleeping on her back at night, even after being burped/upright for 30 min after each feed and after elevating the crib mattress. 
I also noticed that some days are better than others - we had a pretty good 4 nights in a row and then had one of the worst nights yet all of a sudden. Anyone else in the same boat? 
Poor babies and poor parents too... this is ROUGH.

You’ve done everything! Have no advice I am in the same position, only thing I can think of is cutting off certain foods maybe baby is intolerant to something in your diet. I cut off drinking milk and eating peanut butter and have seen some improvement

My first son had GERD, I feel ya. He was always puking, crying after feedings, spitting for hours after eating, trouble sleeping at night. Around 3 months we finally asked the doctor for medicine for him and he was taking that until he was almost 6 months and stoped spitting. He was so much happier after we’ve introduced the medicine (sorry, I cannot remember what it was called but the doctor will know), I highly recommend getting a prescription!

Look into seeing a chiropractor. This is baby #4 and I wish I had known to take my first 3 kids as soon as we brought them home. It’s made a world of a difference in just the 6 visits we’ve had since she was born. She was projectile puking the first week and reflux gagging really bad. After the 2nd visit I noticed a huge change in her and now she’s hardly spitting up or gagging at all.

I could have written this word for word about my 5 week old! We havent found anything that helps/makes it worse yet :( He at lease doesn’t seem too bothered by it but mama hates it!! Solidarity!!

My baby went though the same thing, you sound like you doing everything right, they will get over it.
I found keeping her upright for 15 minutes post feed, and then letting her fall asleep on my chest or hubby’s chest for 15 minutes until she is in a deep sleep and then transfer her to the bassinet, which we put one of my tshirts in so my smell was there worked well and we would get between 4 and 7 hours sleep. Good luck !!

Yes! My baby needs to be vertical all day in the carrier or she gets so upset. They put her on omeprazole and she usually throws up after I give it to her, plus I’m not really seeing a difference. It’s so hard when they tell you to prop them up after they eat because I feel like I get no sleep when she’s up every 3 hrs during the night when I have to feed and sit her up. We also have our crib elevated 
No advice- just know you’re not alone.
