My mother in law just got diagnosed with breast cancer. Well, I got my Covid vaccine and I have a bad cough and vomit. 
My “BF” wanted me to go with him and be there with him but my mom said i should not expose his mom with my cough. I don’t think I got Covid but maybe it’s the vaccine after affects ???

I said I’ll tell him my results because I’m also a waiting on a MRI. 
He asked me to leave him alone. I am respecting his decision hoping he would tell me something but guess what? 
ITS BEEN 11 DAYS since he’s contacted me. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m also blocked ....

I think he’s acting outrageous because his mom just got diagnosed with cancer, that’s never easy for someone to interpret. I would give him as much space as he is needing. At the end of the day you done the right thing by not been around other people with a cough and while waiting for covid results, you have absolutely done nothing wrong.

A common cold can be deadly to someone going through chemo. 
We literally had to stop visiting my relative when they were going through cancer and chemo because their immune system was so poor. 
Right now he just wants someone there. But what he may never forgive is if that gets her sick and she doesn't get better.

Then I would say he’s not your boyfriend. The thing is, he was hurting and he needed you. You could have gone to see her and kept your distance, just to be a support for him. She’s obviously very important to him and you weren’t there. So, looks like you should just move on too

You can get covid even after the injection. It could just be a different cough, though. It could also be after-effects.

You were absolutely right, when my mom had colon cancer no one could go anywhere near her if you had a cold coughing anything like that, I understand what he's going through, my mom passed but he's still get wrong

That's absolutely ridiculous that hes acting like that. You simply wanna make sure nothing happens because god for bid you have covid it could probably kill her. Just like a regular cold could too as their immune systems just arent there.

I can understand he is hurting and needs time but I think his reaction was OTT, you were being safe you were right not to go over and if it’s been 11 days I would text him and tell him your done

End it fully.  He’s an asshole and that was the most ridiculous response to something totally reasonable.  Don’t beg him for a response, ghost him in return unless you have shit you need to get back from him
