My boyfriend doesn't like spending the night with me

I'm 17 and my mom doesn't mind letting my boyfriend spend the night since I'm on birth control. We just have to keep the door open. I told my boyfriend this and he kept saying he didn't want to spend the night. He agreed and since it's summer he got to stay on a week day. I tried to go to bed but he kept making excuses why he didn't want to go to bed. I finally got him to cuddle me and I went to sleep. I woke up the next morning and he was sitting at my window looking exhausted. He said he just woke up but I found out from my brother who stayed up all night playing video games that my boyfriend was downing coffee downstairs and he admitted he didn't sleep at all.... I wanted him over so we could sleep together and cuddle but he didn't seem to want to do that with me...
