i been looking at a 2016 honda pilot 
i am currently pregnant and have a 1 year old
my boyfriend has 2 other children as well so i want to get something we can all comfortably fit in
most of them are 20k-25k 
i make 2000 a month my only bills are about 300 a month 
i have almost 5k saved and can sell my current vehicle for 3.5-4k so will be using that for my down payment 
my credit isn’t the best 670
any recommendations for 3 seater suvs with some trunk space?

Check how much insurance would be for it as well. I just got a car loan for 20k (after my trade in and 1000 down) and my payment with 770 credit score is 322. I got like a 3.7 interest rate or something. My car insurance is like 140 I think? So I’d check what insurance would cost because you’ll need full coverage which can get pricey. Your monthly would probably be higher because of your credit score as well.  Got a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited diesel and I absolutely love it. I work at a Honda collision center and the pilots are nice though I do prefer the older body style. Maybe take a look at the cr-vs they’re just a little smaller but it would save money on the loan and and maintenance and repairs.

You’d be able to but your payment will be high because of your interest rate due to your credit score. But what you can do if apply through a credit union to see if you can get approved for a better rate. Or if you chose to apply through the dealership, get the car and refinance in a year when you’re credit is better for a lower interest rate/payment.

Yes you’ll be able to afford it typically an older car means lower payments also depends who’s primary signer and who’s co-signer that’s what really determines payments but I think you’ll be ok
