Do you put your baby to sleep by giving a bottle

Mine will only sleep if I give him a bottle while he drifts off 
Idk how to break the habit

Im a first time mom & am a bit confused... why do we/i need to break this habit? 
My lo goes down bath, books, bottle, bed.

We started doing the bottle about 20 minutes before bed time and then brushing teeth. At first it was a struggle but if he got fussy we gave him water. It took about a week or so but now he is much calmer and happy. He enjoys brushing his teeth before bed with us and snuggling before bed now. For the first week I suggest giving your little one some extra in his last bottle.

I used to do this too but my daughter sort of naturally decided to stop doing that. I don’t think you need to break the habit just yet. Don’t stress too much about it. You can always try to replace the bottle with a binky if you want to

14 months and same. She just willingly gave up her morning bottle but nap and bedtime she still wants the bottle. It’s hard for me to push switching because she passes out! If she doesn’t have the bottle it’s a FIGHT to get her to sleep. I’m not stressing it. She basically told me when she was ready to give up her morning bottle, I feel like she will do the same in the next few months

We didn’t have a hard time breaking it. We just did it cold turkey and gave her a cup of milk after her bath but before pajamas and story time. If she wakes up in the middle of the night and we can’t get her to settle back down we will give her a bottle but that’s only happened 1 or 2 times in the past 3 months.

I am currently struggling through breaking this habit but with the breast. It’s a struggle but lately she will let me feed her and then put her in her crib and rub her back until she falls asleep. Seems to be working right now, but two weeks ago we had a lot of tears. 😢
