Is anyone using a car seat protector?

I'm wanting to use a car seat protector underneath baby's carseat to protect the leather in my car, but I'm worried it won't be safe for baby. Is anyone using a car seat protector?

Make sure your car seat manual says they’re allowed, usually they aren’t safe!

My husbands a police officer and gets special training on car seat installation, we have the protectors in both our vehicles.

Just make sure the car seat you have is compatible with the cover. Some car seats won’t allow you to put one at all under it, and some require certain brands. I have a Graco and it can have any protector underneath it.

See if they have one that is the same brand as the car seat and is approved for use with that car seat. After market seat protectors weren’t tested with the car seat so there’s no way to know if it’s safe.

Yes, we are. We have one for our 4 year old & have had it since she was born. We purchased a second one for our second. We use the one made by the munchkin brand. It has a blue “X” on it.
