46, been TTC for 8 almost 9 months

Currently have an almost 2 yo with current partner. I’m 46, he’s 35. Our son is his 1st. But he is my 5th. Been ttc since September when I had iud removed. Been using 3-4 apps to keep track of symptoms, dates, etc. Even bought ClearBlue ovulation kits & an at-home sperm test kit. Nothing yet. Not even after hitting my “peak” a couple of times. Just disappointed so far. Reached out to my dr about possibility of taking Clomid. He actually prescribed me Femara. Stating Clomid is more for to get a woman TO ovulate. Since I still have regular periods, he said Femara might work better for me. So it’s at the pharmacy. Just gotta pick it up. And just in time I guess. Yet another disappointment. Started bleeding this morning. 😞 Oh and he set me up to have my thyroid levels checked.

Any advice (other than what the Dr said) about Femara? Would be appreciated. 😔
