D&C after Genetic Disorder

Hello Ladies,

Here I am back in the loss group. I’ve been here a few times and was really hoping I never had to return.

At our 12 week appt we discovered our baby had a genetic disorder that wouldn’t allow him to survive after birth (he also had a good chance of passing during pregnancy).

We made the very tough decision to terminate the pregnancy and I go in for my D&C today.

Any advice or support from other ladies on how to heal? I’ve been trying to detach, but ready to start facing the music and dealing with this extremely painful loss. I just feel broken ☹️
