Sleep training 10 Month old

My 10 month old can’t put herself to sleep yet and wakes up multiple times throughout the night. I try to give her a few minutes to calm down overnight before I get her and she absolutely loses it where to the point there’s tears running down her face and she can barely catch her breath. So I don’t think the CIO method is a good method for us. As soon as we go in she stops. Any tips? She wakes up 3-4 times a night having to be rocked back to sleep 😭. She was a good sleeper with one or two wakings when she was 6 months old. We follow 3/3.5/4 schedule . She is also trying to learn how to stand/walk so all she does is stand and hold on to the rail in her crib
