Covid-19 shot?

Have any of you received the shot while pregnant? If so, which shot did you go with, and did you have any side effects? I’m still on the fence about it, but I want to weigh my options.

It’s an individualized decision based on your unique health status and carefully weighing the risks/benefits to you and your baby. Since I am healthy and probably wouldn’t have anything worse than a cold if I got coronavirus, I opted not to get the vaccine because there’s not enough data available yet on how it affects pregnant women and developing fetuses.

I had Pfizer doses. Sore arm after the first shot and slight fever/body aches for about 12 hours after the second dose but everything has been fine since! Baby is doing great and I feel much more relaxed knowing I’m more protected.

I work in a school, so I had the Pfizer doses. I had a sore arm after the first shot and didn’t have any side effects after the second one. Baby is doing well and I feel less anxious!! It’s definitely a personal, individual decision.

I got Pfizer at 13 and 17 weeks. I only had a sore arm with the first and body aches with the second. I am so glad I got mine. I weighed my pros and cons but it was the safest option for my family and I. Baby is looking great💙 but do what is best for you🙂

I received my first dose of moderna at 22 weeks and I had zero issues other than an achy arm for a couple of hours. Go back for my second shot next week and I am just ready to be protected. You gotta do what’s best for you and your family tho! Best of luck to you!

I got Moderna and had no negative side effects except a dore arm for a few days. Baby and I are perfectly healthy.

I had Pfizer at 17 & 20 weeks. My ob stressed the importance of being very hydrated before and after the vaccines to minimize side effects. The first vaccine I had slight arm pain and a headache a few hours later but that was it. The second vaccine I only had slight fever/chills overnight but woke up the next day fine.
