I like this guy

I haven’t dated for years! I’ve been in a long term relationship for so long and now I’m single I don’t know how to get started! There’s this guy on my snapchat I’ve never seen him in person but obv seen his snap stories and ive got him on my facebook etc. There’s something about him that i really like. But ive got so many self esteem issues from my toxic ex that i wanna go for it but im sooo nervous 😬 he posted on his story the other day and i replied to one of his pics with a ‘swipe right’ snap sticker. He replied straight away with laughing emojis and said he liked that. Few days later he posted something funny, it was a video him and his mother were having a conversation and she sounded so funny with what she was saying to him so i sent him 3 laughing face emojis. He messaged straight back again saying his mother was crazy (in a good way) and i replied saying she’s funny. We haven’t messaged since. I cant keep on replying to his snap stories otherwise he’ll think im a stalker lol. Do you think id be making a fool of mysef? Does it even sound like he could be interested? Obviously i not going to ask him if he’s interested, id never have the courage to do that lol, this is why i need honest (and kind) advice pleaseeee
