IUGR??

Question

Yesterday my OB checked my fundal height and it’s 5 weeks behind. He stated in my chart “significant discrepancies between uterus size and gestational age” I’m so concerned my baby isn’t growing. I go in for an ultrasound next week. At my 20 week scan she was measuring on track but now at 24 weeks my fundal height is only 19 weeks. This is my second pregnancy, didn’t have these complications last time. Has anyone else dealt with this before?

yes, with my first.  currently 23 weeks pregnant with baby #2.  i am not sure yet if i will experience the same thing with this pregnancy.  with my 1st, at my 20 week ultrasound everything was great and by 24 weeks baby was behind...so i had a scan at 28 weeks and 34 weeks.  the doctor explained that as long as the baby was growing there were no concerns...baby was just growing at her own rate.  both ultrasounds showed growth compared with previous scans.  i gave birth to a 6lb 7oz, 100% healthy baby girl, still healthy at 20 months old.
