(For people who’ve had a kidney removed) Could you feel your single kidney grow?

Sorry this isn’t period or womanly-related, but this is a great group for questions. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I recently had to have one of my kidney’s removed about 6 months ago. Recently, I’ve felt fuller on the side with my kidney and even some small pains, and just some weird sensations like something’s there. Almost like I can feel my kidney being there now. I know from scans that it has, in fact, grown larger. However, is this a normal sensation? Did anyone else feel this?
