Gas? Colic? HELP!!

Hey all! First time mom here. My son is 6 weeks old. About a week ago he started giving us problems when feeding. I breastfeed and he will only eat for a few minutes until he starts pulling away and crying. When I pump and bottle feed he does this too. We have given him gas drops, held him in multiple positions and gotten him to burp but he still cries. And he never finishes eating so in an hour we do it all over again. 
Any idea on what it could be? I have eliminated dairy from my diet already.

I am having the same issue, did your sons problem resolve? I was hoping there was more guidance on this post. My daughter is going to be 7 weeks Tuesday. I have read it can maybe be a growth spurt but I’m not sure what to do…

Maybe try burping him before and after feeds. Also try doing bicycle excursions and massages

Gripe water, also you could bring him to a chiropractor for colicky symptoms

I would suggest like FireWife said giving it time for the no dairy to see if it makes a difference. Also like Julie said could possibly be reflux. Maybe talk to the pediatrician. If it's neither one of those maybe try a probiotic. We did the Gerber Soothe (our pediatrician recommended and gave us a sample) made a huge difference for my little one!

It can take 2 weeks or more for dairy to be out of breastmilk once u cut it so give that time to be out of ur milk and see if anything changes.

Possibly acid reflux. I'm not even sure what colic is. It's just a name for when you don't know why they cry a lot. But there's always a real reason behind it. If it's not acid reflux I would suggest trying to get to a chiropractor. Babies can get out of place during birth and often have neck issues which is diagnosed with colic cause a lot of people don't like the idea of a chiropractor working on babies. It's actually very beneficial
