Taking clomid when I’m already ovulating

Who has taken clomid without having PCOS or any diagnosed fertility issues?

I have no fertility issues and have confirmed ovulation with blood tests through my doctor. I have been prescribed clomid (before having an hsg? Which I think is weird but maybe that’s the norm??)

What are my chances since I am already ovulating and don’t seem to have any issue?

I don’t mean percentage wise I just want to know if it’s more likely than someone who doesn’t ovulate or if it’s the same and I’m taking medication that might actually have a detriment?

Any success stories would be appreciated
